Carrie and Lulu's friendship bloomed in 2010 over their shared belief ​that art is like a magical healing spell for the world. Their creative ​projects explore themes of presence, togetherness, nature, and love. ​With their brainchild, APOCOPOP, they aim to bring more joy to ​diverse environments and communities to connect and delight.

Lulu Toselli

Carrie Lau, a Hong Kong-born multitalented ​artist based in LA, an illustrator, art director, ​and ceramicist under her brand,

Object-Matter. Known for her playfully ​minimalist designs, Carrie's work features ​modern, curvilinear forms, playful movement, ​and naturalistic tension. She explores how ​the creative process brings us to the mindful ​state and has collaborated with institutions ​and brands including the Japanese American ​National Museum, A.P.C., Poketo, Garrett ​Leight, Hoxton Hotel, Matchesfashion x ​Frieze Art Fair, Modern Animal, Youtube, ​Insight L.A., and Slowdown Studio.

Lulu Toselli, a Brazilian-American artist, ​designer, sound healer, and mindfulness ​teacher. She holds a BFA from Central St. ​Martins where she began exploring how ​design can inspire joy. Her work fosters self-​inquiry, deep relaxation, and meaningful ​transformation, emphasizing community

and connection. She currently teaches at ​InsightLA and Mindful USC and has ​collaborated with various organizations, ​including Live Nation, Poketo, Moon Juice,

LA Design Festival, Spotify, Universal Music, ​Atlantic Records, and Slowdown Studio.
